The story of 1.618 SPACE began in 2020 in Saint Petersburg with the practice of creating private interiors. Today, it consists of three exhibition platforms in two cities, with a strategy based on the integration of historical context and the exploration of contemporary artistic practices. The gallery curators develop the programme through direct dialogue with the authors and work with private archives.
