Lavrentiy Vasilievich Bruni is a Russian artist, a descendant of the famous Bruni dynasty. The Bruni family of artists has been known in Northern Italy and Switzerland since the 16th century.
From 1983 to 1984, he studied at the Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute. Since 1986, he studied in the studio of Yunus Karimov (classical drawing). In 1994, he became a member of the Moscow Union of Artists.
He is known as the author of large-format works. The recurring themes in the artist’s work are flowers and ballet, which the artist himself considers to embody the image of beauty.
Lavrentiy Bruni’s works are held in various museums and private collections around the world.
Lavrentiy worked for extended periods in France, Spain, Switzerland, and other European countries, participating in group exhibitions in Russia and abroad, including the TEFAF fairs and Sotheby’s auctions.
He is ranked among the top 50 most expensive living artists in Russia.
