Soren Arildsen

1996, Copenhagen, Denmark

Graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen.

His works explore the boundaries between reality and digital perception. Everyday motifs often appear in his paintings, conveyed through the 'noise' and distortions characteristic of old monitors or analogue TV signals.

As an artist, Arildsen is deeply engaged in exploring the potential of colour and the influence of art history on contemporary painting. He actively investigates various genres, from classical motifs and compositions to techniques inspired by post-impressionism. Primarily working in painting and printmaking, Arildsen also expands his creative practice by using materials such as handmade porcelain frames, plaster on canvas, and textiles.
