Bruy William Petrovich
1946, Leningrad

Artist, graphic designer. Starting his journey in Leningrad with an in-depth study of lithographic techniques and the legacy of the avant-garde, in 1971 the artist moved to Paris and then to New York. International recognition came to Bruy in the 1970s after creating the series "Unified Fields." William Bruy lives and works in Normandy. In his paintings, Bruy explores the architecture of sacred space and theological meanings, transforming spiritual concepts into universal visual formulas. Today, the author’s works are held in private collections worldwide, as well as in museums, including the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, and the State Hermitage and Russian Museum in St. Petersburg.
